Why use adhesive tools when printing FDM?

Applying a layer of adhesive to your 3D printer's print bed reduces the risk of the print coming off the build plate. It can also help your parts from warping by ensuring that they stay attached to the build surface during printing. For some materials, using adhesives can also makes it easier for your parts to come off once the print surface has cooled!
