The Original Prusa MK4S delivers reliable results for all your projects. Building on the MK4 model loved by hobbyists and big companies alike, it offers even higher accuracy and print speed. Thanks to its new 360° cooling, high-flow nozzle, and numerous firmware optimizations, you’ll get your 3D models fast and with top-notch quality.
The MK4S answers your needs whether you’re just starting or have years of experience. We’ve designed the UI to be easy to use even for complete beginners, yet its reliable performance also makes it a perfect fit for professional workshops. Getting started is super easy: simply take the MK4S out of the box, plug it in, perform a quick calibration, and start printing in 15 minutes!
While the MK4S is our fastest printer yet, it never sacrifices quality for quicker print times. Thanks to its fine-tuned features and workflow, it always delivers precise models at amazing speeds as confirmed by the perfect 30/30 score in Print Quality in TechRadar’s review.
Your creations should turn out precisely as designed, especially when they require a perfect fit. The MK4S ensures that by delivering exceptionally accurate prints. See the accuracy comparison measured using a CT scan:
The more the color deviates from green, the less accurate the object is.
The MK4S is the clear winner.
Reduce the need for supports and print quicker with less material! Thanks to the 360° cooling, the MK4S allows you to print overhangs of up to 75° without supports, significantly cutting down on print costs and time. This also simplifies printing flexible materials like TPU, where removing supports is often a challenge.
With the MK4S, you get prints that last. Its new cooling fan and high-flow nozzle provide excellent layer adhesion, making your entire prints strong and durable. It comes with a wide array of print profiles that let you prioritize higher speed or maximal sturdiness.
Your models turn out smooth and a joy to look at, as the MK4S’ print profiles prioritize perfect surface finishes. You can adjust print layer height to match your desired level of detail and print everything from super intricate models (with the 0.25mm nozzle) to larger objects, where details matter less.
As Tom’s Hardware puts it: The Prusa MK4S is pretty darn fast. It substantially cuts print times thanks to the new cooling fan with a powerful turbine and 360° air delivery, as well as the high-flow nozzle that allows for maximized filament flow. Combined with optimized firmware and print profiles, the results are both quick and flawless.

We ship around 10,000 3D printers each month directly from our HQ in Prague, Czech Republic, and we also started manufacturing them in the USA. There are over half a million Original Prusa printers in the wild and still only around 20 printers per month need to be sent back to us for hands-on maintenance – the claim rate is less than 1%! Don’t believe it? Check out our Trustpilot score or Google Reviews!

You can control your printer(s) remotely. The MK4S includes an ethernet port and Wi-Fi with NFC setup, allowing you to manage it from anywhere using the secure Prusa Connect system or mobile app. For maximum security, the printer can also operate fully offline.
Choose the best filament for your model, the MK4S can handle most of them: PLA, PETG, ASA, carbon-filled filaments, and even the flexible TPU! With its direct drive Nextruder, it tackles TPU easily, allowing you to create amazing flexible projects. To get the most out of your materials, house the MK4S in an Enclosure.
100% Privacy
We do not collect information about your prints or your printer’s surroundings without consent. We believe that no matter whether you’re developing a new-generation space shuttle, or just printing silly things for your friends, no organization should be interested in this information. This is why our printers can be found in top companies, universities and research institutions around the world.
Our printers are primarily designed for completely offline operation with no drawbacks or limitations. You have the option to share data with our tech support and connect your printer to the Prusa Connect remote print management system, but only if you choose to do so. Our code is open source, so you can always check that we aren’t cheating or stealing your files, even when you’re connected to the internet.
The MK4S is compatible with two new optional addons for enthusiasts and modders. First, the GPIO “hackerboard” allows you to control external electronics using G-commands. And we have also introduced an accelerometer addon for those who made extensive changes to the Nextruder. You can find more details on their respective product pages.
Original Prusa MK4 vs MK4S
Every Original Prusa 3D printer receives long-term support for years after launch. Not just small bugfixes, but major firmware and hardware upgrades that bring useful new features. And MK4 is no exception.
Compared to the Original Prusa MK4, the MK4S brings the following innovations:
Our machines are built to last. We operate a massive print farm with over 700 of our printers running 24/7. This means we design our machines to withstand non-stop operation with minimal downtime. The open “bed-slinger“ design is the result of a 10-year evolution and enables the easiest access to all parts without a lengthy disassembly process. No welded or glued parts, everything can be taken apart with a set of Allen keys.
The MK4S has been designed for native offline use, so if you don’t want to use the network services, you don’t have to. The printer can be configured completely without internet access and there are no drawbacks or limitations. The Wi-Fi module can be easily unplugged for environments that require the highest level of security.
Warranty note
Consumable parts, such as print sheets (smooth, textured, etc.), are not covered by the warranty since their coatings are expected to deteriorate over time, unless the failure is due to a defect in materials or workmanship. Cosmetic damage, which includes, but is not limited to, scratches, dents, cracks, or other aesthetic damage, is also not covered. Only sheets defective upon delivery are covered by the warranty.
